Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Tidyvo Cleaner handles information when you use the Android app.
Tidyvo Cleaner helps you review and manage photos, videos, contacts, and storage on your device. Core media scanning, categorization, compression, cleanup preparation, contact review, and Private Space operations are designed to run locally on the device.
Tidyvo Cleaner does not require an account. The app does not upload your photos, videos, contact records, Private Space content, PIN, or biometric data to Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.
2. Information Processed on Your Device
When you choose to use a feature, the app may access the following information with the Android permissions you grant:
- Photos and videos: File metadata and locally generated analysis signals used to identify duplicate, similar, blurry, screenshot, and large-media categories.
- Video outputs: Locally generated compressed copies and the size information needed to report compression results.
- Contacts: Contact fields needed to identify possible duplicates and perform a merge that you confirm.
- Private Space information: Selected media and local security settings used to protect the feature on your device.
- Cleanup history and preferences: Local records of actions, selections, settings, and results used to provide the app’s features.
Biometric authentication is handled by Android. Tidyvo Cleaner does not receive or store your biometric template.
3. Files and Media
The app requests access to photos and videos only when needed for a feature you choose to use. Eligible media is analyzed locally to identify categories such as duplicate, similar, blurry, screenshot, and large files.
Items are not deleted automatically. You review and confirm deletion, and Android system authorization is used where required.
4. Video Compression
Video compression is processed locally. The app creates a compressed output only after you choose settings and confirm the action. The original is not silently overwritten.
5. Private Space
Private Space is intended to store selected content in encrypted local storage. Screenshots are blocked while viewing protected content. You remain responsible for keeping your device access secure.
6. Contacts
If you use contact cleanup, the app may read contacts to find possible duplicates and present them for review. Contact changes require your confirmation.
7. Firebase Analytics
Tidyvo Cleaner uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used and to improve feature quality. Depending on device settings and the final Analytics configuration, Google Analytics for Firebase may process:
- an app-instance identifier and Firebase installation information;
- the Android Advertising ID when it is available and collection is enabled;
- approximate location derived from a masked IP address;
- device type, operating-system version, app version, language, and general technical information;
- app lifecycle, session, screen-view, and feature-interaction events; and
- campaign and install-attribution information when applicable.
Analytics events may describe actions such as app launch, scan start or completion, cleanup confirmation or completion, compression start or completion, permission results, widget-add results, Private Space import results, and feature errors.
Event names and parameters are designed not to include media names, file paths or URIs, contact information, PINs, email addresses, authentication tokens, or the contents of files.
For version 1.0.0, Tidyvo Cleaner does not contain in-app advertising and does not use Analytics data for personalized advertising. If advertising or additional advertising integrations are introduced in a later version, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data Safety disclosure will be updated before that change is released.
8. Firebase Crashlytics
Tidyvo Cleaner uses Firebase Crashlytics to identify and fix crashes, non-fatal errors, and application-not-responding events.
Crashlytics may process crash stack traces, relevant app state, app and operating-system versions, device model and technical characteristics, timestamps, session information, Firebase installation identifiers, and a Crashlytics installation UUID.
Crash reports and developer-defined diagnostic fields are configured not to include media names, file paths or URIs, contact information, PINs, email addresses, authentication tokens, or file contents.
9. How Information Is Used
Information is used only to:
- provide features that you request;
- maintain app security and reliability;
- measure aggregate feature usage;
- understand technical performance;
- diagnose crashes and other failures; and
- improve the app.
Tidyvo Cleaner does not sell or rent personal information.
10. Service Provider and International Data Transfers
Google LLC processes Analytics and Crashlytics information as a service provider. This information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live, subject to Google’s applicable data-protection and security terms.
Core media and contact content is not sent to Firebase for analytics or crash reporting.
The relevant third-party privacy materials include Privacy and Security in Firebase, the Google Privacy Policy, and Firebase guidance for Google Play data disclosures.
11. Data Retention
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it through the app or Android settings, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app, subject to Android storage behavior and any copies you created outside the app.
Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings configured for the associated Google Analytics property and only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Google states that Firebase Crashlytics keeps crash stack traces and associated installation identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from live and backup systems.
12. Your Choices and Rights
You can grant or revoke Android permissions in system settings. Revoking a permission may prevent the related feature from working. You can also clear local app data or uninstall the app.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, request data portability, or complain to a data-protection authority.
Tidyvo Cleaner does not create user accounts or attach Firebase data to your name or email address. Privacy requests can be sent to the contact email below and will be handled where applicable and technically feasible.
13. Security
Tidyvo Cleaner limits access to information to the features you choose, uses Android permission and deletion-confirmation flows, and is designed to keep core media processing on the device.
Firebase data is transmitted using encrypted connections. No security method can guarantee complete protection.
14. Children’s Privacy
Tidyvo Cleaner is not directed to children under 13 or the equivalent minimum age in the user’s location, and the app is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support request, contact us so that the request can be reviewed.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when features, permissions, service providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top of the document will reflect the latest version.
